MAP sensor as sync on V-twin

In combination with a Missing tooth crank trigger, MaxxECU can sync on the MAP sensor, even though it is not a recommended setup.

Note: ONLY on Missing tooth trigger systems.

Inputs --> Triggers/Home inputs, trigger decoder.

 

The MAP sensor must be connected to the intake manifold and calculates cylinder 1 from the odd-fire angle pattern.

Throttle must remain closed during cranking to ensures a pressure drop the MAP sensor can detect.

 

Note: Only used during engine start and cannot be re synced when engine is running.

Note: to setup, it is required to use the internal ECU Logging at least 500hz to determine the proper MAP DIP value.
