Speedometer output

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Transmits a speedometer signal to external speedometers.

Requires a working and calibrated Speedsensor wheelspeed front/rear right/left (or speed from a CAN system).

Speedometer output

enable speedometer output

Enable or disables the speedometer output on the selected output.

DISabled - No output.

ENABLED - Speedometer output is enabled.

TEST MODE - speedometer output is set to a test mode with a new test value available to test and calibrate the output to match vehicle speed.

pulses/km

Specifies the pulses per km.

Output frequency multiplier

Multiplies the output frequency.

calibration mode

Whether to use a static % calibration value or use a table.

Single value - Uses a single calibration value (in %).

Table - Uses a calibration table (in %) instead of a static value, used where the speed might drift away during higher speeds.

speedometer test

Output speed

Available when the test mode is enabled, set to a value to be sent to the actual output without starting the engine. Use the above settings to adjust to match vehicle speed with the speedometer output.

speedometer sweep

Function to sweep the speedometer output from 0 to a certain value during ECU power on.

sweep speedometer

Enables or disables the speedometer sweep function.

DISabled - No sweep at power on.

ENABLED - Sweeps the speedo at ECU power ON.

ENABLED with a short ondelay - The output sweep is shortly delayed for slower instrument clusters to be able to wake up before the sweep starts.

sweep max speed

Specifies the max speed where the speed sweep will stop.

speedometer value presentation

value presentation 1

Function to show a value change on the speedometer output, from a RealTime Data value change or digital input Tachometer/speedometer, show monitor value x change.

disabled

enabled, by value change

enabled, by digital input

hold time

Specifies the amount of time in seconds to hold the output speed.

RealTime data value

Specifies the RealTime Data value used as the source.

MIN RealTime data value

Specifies the MIN value of the selected RealTime data value, to be used as the output speed minimum value below.

MAX RealTime data value

Specifies the MAX value of the selected RealTime data value, to be used as the output speed maximum value below.

RPM for MIN RealTIME data value

Specifies the output speed to show, when the selected RealTime data value is MIN RealTime data value.

RPM for max RealTIME data value

Specifies the output speed to show, when the selected RealTime data value is MAX RealTime data value.
